Prerequisites: none
Duration: 2 days at a site, 4 weeks teleseminar series
Public class price: $1000.00 includes instructor, meeting space, all course materials, and lunch both days.
Public class size: 10 - 20 delegates
Teleseminar class price: $700.00 includes 2 meetings a week with the instructor (one instructional, one Q&A) and all course materials. Homework is assigned, and delegates interact through a Facebook Fan page. Meetings are recorded and available for delegates to download after the meeting, making it possible for people to attend who have a schedule conflict at the meeting times.
Teleseminar minimum class size: 5 delegates
Description: This class covers the notation for the most used elements of
Unified Modeling Language, version 2.x. It includes an overview of OOAD concepts. This is not intended
to replace an OOAD course.
This course is appropriate for managers, technical writers, marketing
professionals, or QA analysts. This is also a good course for experienced
Object Oriented modelers to refresh or update their
knowledge of UML. It is designed for people who need to gain
a reading knowledge of UML or who wish an introduction to UML.

Instructors: Geri Schneider Winters. Ms. Winters worked for Rational at the Santa Clara Office when Grady Booch and Jim Rumbaugh were there developing the first version of UML. She has been involved with learning, using, and teaching UML continuously since the 0.8 release in Austin, Texas in 1996.
